In the following video I use what I have learned in class and seen in my own life to try and debunk the myth that if you “just work harder” you can get anywhere in life. I do this through privilege, race, class and gender.

Sabrina, your thoughts on the issue of meritocracy via your Mythbuster Minute were well organized. You looked at how it affects different aspects of life: race, class, gender etc. and sought to effectively debunk each myth. The repitition of ” work harder” throughout the video helped to reinforce your idea. Given the creative liberties we can take with a video presentation, some creativity could have been added though.
